Persian Abstract

با توجه‌ به‌ ‌ارتقا‌ي‌ سطح‌ بهد‌اشتي‌ جو‌امع‌ جمعيت‌ سالمند رو به‌ فزوني‌ ‌است‌ و ‌انتظار ميرود که‌ حد‌اقل‌ ۴۰درصد جمعيت‌ بالا‌ي‌ ۷۵ سال‌ به‌ خدمات‌ مر‌اقبت‌ سلامتي‌ وسيع‌ در ‌او‌اخر زندگي‌ نياز پيد‌ا کنند سالمند‌ان‌ به‌ سر‌ا‌ي‌ سالمند در ‌اير‌ان‌ سير صعود‌ي‌ د‌ارد درک‌ چگونگي‌ تجارب‌ سالمند‌ان‌ بر‌ا‌ي‌ ‌اد‌امه‌ زندگي‌شان‌ در سر‌ا‌ي‌ سالمند‌ان‌ ‌ا‌هميت‌ د‌اشته‌ و بررسي‌ ‌اين‌ تجارب‌ مي‌تو‌اند با‌عث‌ فهم‌ بهتر و ‌عميق‌تر ‌از مفهوم‌ زندگي‌ در سر‌ا‌ي‌ سالمند‌ان‌ گردد در ‌اين‌ مطالعه‌ ‌از روش‌ فنومنولوژ‌ي‌ که‌ رويکرد‌ي‌ کيفي‌ ‌است‌ ‌استفاده‌ شده‌ ‌است‌ نمونه‌‌ها ‌از ميان‌ سالمند‌ان‌ مقيم‌ در سر‌ا‌ها‌ي‌ سالمند‌ان‌ خصوصي‌ و دولتي‌ در شهر ‌اصفهان‌ ‌انتخاب‌ گرديد نمونه‌گير‌ي‌ مبتني‌ بر ‌هدف‌ بوده‌ و تا ‌اشبا‌ع‌ ‌اطلا‌عات‌ که‌ در ‌آخر تعد‌اد شرکت‌ کنندگان‌ به‌ ۱۰ نفر رسيد ‌اد‌امه‌ يافت‌ شرکت‌ کنندگان‌ در محمدوه‌ سني‌ ۸۵-۶۶ ساله‌ بودند حاصل‌ ‌اين‌ مرحله‌ ‌از پژو‌هش‌ ۳۴۸ کد بود که‌ ‌همان‌ مفا‌هيم‌ تدوين‌ شده‌ مي‌باشند در ‌اين‌ مرحله‌ کليه‌ کد‌ها‌ي‌ ‌استخر‌اج‌ شده‌ بصورت‌ ليست‌ تهيه‌ و ندوين‌ گرديدند سپس‌ دسته‌‌ها‌ي‌ موضو‌عي‌ مختلف‌ که‌ معاني‌ مشابهي‌ د‌اشتند در ۶ دسته‌ موضو‌عي‌ بزرگتر‌ي‌ قر‌ار د‌اده‌ شدند ۱- زندگي‌ در مکان‌ ‌عمومي‌ ۲- ‌انگيزه‌ ورود به‌ سر‌ا‌ي‌ سالمند ۳- تجارب‌ روحي‌ مقيم‌ ۴- وضعيت‌ سلامتي‌ ۵- رضايت‌ ‌از زندگي‌ ۶- مر‌اقبت‌ در ‌اين‌ مطالعه‌ سالمند‌ان‌ نسبت‌ به‌ نقل‌ مکان‌ و ‌اقامت‌ در سر‌ا‌ي‌ سالمند‌ان‌ ‌احساسات‌ مختلفي‌ د‌اشتند يافته‌‌ها سه‌ ‌عنصر مهم‌ در کيفيت‌ زندگي‌ سالمند ر‌ا نشان‌ د‌ادند که‌ ‌عبارت‌ ‌از کارکنان‌ ساير مقيمان‌ و خانو‌اده‌ بودند کمکها‌ي‌ ما‌هر‌انه‌ و تو‌انبخشي‌ سالمند‌ان‌ در ‌اين‌ مر‌اکز ضرور‌ي‌ بوده‌ و ‌استاند‌ار‌ها‌ي‌ کارکنان‌ تغذيه‌ محيط فيزيک‌ و بهد‌اشت‌ لازم‌ بنظر مي‌رسند ‌علاوه‌ بر ‌اين‌ ‌انتظار مي‌رود که‌ پرورش‌ جسم‌، ذ‌هن‌ و روح‌ بخشي‌ ‌از مر‌اقبت‌ کلي‌ باشد تا با گسترش‌ مفهوم‌ مر‌اقبت‌ ‌علاوه‌ بر نياز‌ها‌ي‌ جسمي‌ به‌ سالمند‌ان‌ در د‌اشتن‌ فرصت‌‌هايي‌ بر‌ا‌ي‌ زندگي‌ با معني‌ با ‌هدف‌ و ‌اميد توجه‌ کافي‌ معطوف‌ گردد

The final sign og failure of older people living in nursing home

English Abstract

The promotion of health and economic status in all over the world resulted in increasing the older population. It’s expected, at least 40% of the population over 75 years, need extensive health care services in the last parts of their lives. The rate of transferring the elderly to the nursing home is increasing in Iran too. Understanding elder’s emotional experiences is important for living in nursing home and understanding why this relocation causes that elder views it as “final sign of failure” is important, because this perceptions and fears have negative effects on elder’s adaptation in countering with this challenge. This study aimed to describe emotional experiences of elders living in nursing homes. The qualitative phenomenological approach and purposive sampling amongst elderly residents in private and governmental nursing homes in Esfahan city was applied. Sampling continued till data saturation and resulting sample size became 10 participants. The data was collected with in-depth interviews and field notes. Colaizzi's method was used for data analysis and the rigor was based on transferability and credibility. Three themes were extracted from the data (structural components of experience), including: 1- Residents’ emotional experiences in nursing home life 2- Resident’s emotional experiences at the entrance in nursing home. 3- Feeling of powerlessness In this study, older people have shown various emotions to relocation and residence in nursing homes. Every elder, with different context and different history in life, described its uniqueness experiences. In addition, pay attention to social, financial, health supports and mental, spiritual and physical needs of elders should be met through whole care, because only attention to physical needs of them, denies hopeful, meaningful and purposive life in nursing homes.
