بررسی میزان آگاهی و عملکرد پزشکان از تاثیرات سیستمیک بیماریهای پریودنتال در استان اردبیل

سابقه و هدف: پزشکان می توانند نقش فعالی در سلامت سیستمیک مرتبط با سلامت دهان داشته باشند. از آنجائيکه سلامت سیستمیک با سلامت دهان و پریودنشیم در ارتباط می‌باشد، درک صحیح پزشکان از تأثیرات متقابل سلامت سیستمیک و وضعیت پریودنشیم بیمار، از بسیاری جهات کمک کننده است. دیابت ، مشکلات بارداری ، بیماریهای کاردیوواسکولار، و بیماریهای تنفسی اختلالات سیستمیک مؤثر بر وضعیت پریودنتال بیمار می‌باشند. مواد و روش‌ها: مطالعه‌ی حاضر از نوع مطالعات بررسی مقطعی می‌باشد. 261 نفر از پزشکان استان اردبیل به این مطالعه وارد شدند. پرسشنامه‌ای حاوی سه بخش آگاهی، عملکرد و منابع اطلاعاتی در بین پزشکان توزیع شد. داده‌های دریافتی، با نرم‌‌افزار آماری Spss نسخه 12 مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت. برای ارزیابی میزان آگاهی از t تک نمونه‌ای استفاده شد و 05/0>P معنی‌دار تلقی شد. یافته ها: نتایج حاصل از مطالعه‌ی حاضر، نشان داد که سطح آگاهی پزشکان شهر اردبیل از تأثیرات سیستمیک بیماری پریودنتال در سطح بسیار خوبی می‌باشد. عملکرد پزشکان در این رابطه نیز خوب ارزیابی شد. در بررسی های بیشتر، مشخص شد که هم آگاهی و هم عملکرد مردان به صورت معنی داری بیشتر از زنان می‌باشد. عملکرد پزشکانی که در مطب شاغل بودند بهتر از سایرین برآورد شد. همچنین، پزشکان با 3 سال سابقه‌ی طبابت عملکرد بهترین نسبت به سایر پزشکان از خود نشان دادند. نتیجه‌گیری: در مطالعه‌ی اخیر میزان آگاهی و عملکرد کلی پزشکان تحت مطالعه خوب برآورد شد. همچنین، در این مطالعه، از این فرض که آگاهی و عملکرد مردان در رابطه با تأثیرات سیستمیک بیماری‌های پریودنتال بهتر از زنان است، حمایت شد. عملکرد پزشکان شاغل در مطب و پزشکان با سابقه‌ی طبابت 3 ساله، از سایرین بیشتر بود. نتایج حاصل نشان دهنده‌ی عملکرد مطلوب مسئولین و آموزش در این زمینه می‌باشد.

Survey of Awareness and operation regarding Systemic effects of Periodontal disease among general Medical doctors in Ardabil

English Abstract

Objective and back ground: Physicians can play an active role in the oral health-related systemic health. Since systemic & periodontal tissues health are associated with oral health, proper understanding of their interactions can be helpful in many ways. Diabetes, pregnancy complications, cardiovascular diseases, respiratory diseases and systemic diseases may affect the periodontal status of patients. Method and material: The present study is a cross-sectional one. 261 physicians from Ardebil province were enrolled in the study. A Questionnaire which was Consisting of three parts of: knowledge, performance and information resource was distributed among the physicians. Received data was analyzed by special software. Results: The results of this study showed that physicians' awareness of the systemic effects of periodontal disease in the city of Ardabil is very good. The physicians also showed a good performance. On further investigation, it was found that the knowledge and performance of men was significantly more than women. The doctors who were working in the office was better than others. Also, physicians with 3 years of practice showed best performance compared to other doctors. Conclusion: In the present study, the overall knowledge mark was …. And the overall performance mark was good Also, in this study, we recognized that that the knowledge and practice of men in relation to the systemic effects of periodontal diseases was more than women. The doctors working in clinics and doctors with 3 year work history had better performance compared to others.
