Persian Abstract

مقدمه: اثرات بد دخانیات بر سلامت دهان به خوبی تایید شده است. این پژوهش با هدف بررسی نگرش، آگاهی و عملکرد و دانشجویان دانشکده دندان پزشکی اردبیل در ارتباط با تاثیر دخانیات بر بهداشت دهان و دندان در سال 1393 انجام گرفت. مواد و روش کار: یک پرسشنامه متشکل از 4 بخش در میان 165 دانشجوی دندانپزشک عمومی توزیع شد. بخش اول پرسشنامه مربوط به اطلاعات شخصی و دموگرافیک دانشجویان شرکت کننده بود. در بخش های بعدی نگرش، آگاهی و عملکرد دانشجویان را اندازه می گرفت. داده های حاصل وارد نرم افزار spss18 شد و با استفاده از ضریب همبستگی پیرسون و ضریب همبستگی دو رشته ای نقطه ای و آزمون تی مستقل و آزمون کروسکال والیس مورد آنالیز آماری قرار گرفت. نتایج: 165 دانشجوی دندانپزشکی عمومی 97 مرد و 68 زن پرسشنامه ها رو تکمیل کردند. در مطالعه حاضر مشاهده شد که خانم ها آگاهی کمتری نسبت به آقایان در متغیرهای آگاهی و نگرش دارند و رابطه معناداری بین جنسیت و آگاهی ؛ جنسیت و نگرش و وضعیت تحصیلی و آگاهی؛ وضعیت تحصیلی و عملکرد و سن و آگاهی وجود داشت، همچنین تفاوت معناداری در آگاهی و نگرش و عملکرد افراد سیگاری، قلیانی و عادی وجود داشت. نتیجه گیری: به طوری کلی، این مطالعه نشان داد که دانشجویان دندانپزشکی شرکت کننده در ارتباط با تاثیر دخانیات بر بهداشت دهان و دندان سطح آگاهی کمی برخوردار هستند و به منظور بهبود دانش دانشجویان دندانپزشکی آموزش مداوم و با کیفیت بهتر پیشنهاد شد

Study of Attitudes, skills and knowledge of dental students in Ardebil University Medical Sciences about the effects of tobacco on oral health in Ardabil 2014.

English Abstract

Background and aim: The harmful effects of tobacco on oral health as well as approved. This study purposed to evaluate attitudes, skills and knowledge of dental students about the effects of tobacco on oral health in Ardabil 2014. Material and methods: four-part questionnaires were distributed to 165 dental students in Ardabil, Iran. The first part was demographic information, and the following sections attitudes, knowledge and practice about the effects of tobacco on oral health. Data were analyzed using the pearson correlation coefficient, point biserial correlation, independent t-test and Kruskal-Wallis test. (P≤0.05). Results: 165 dental students, 97 males and 68 females had completed questionnaires. In the present study it was observed that women know less than men in their knowledge and attitude variables. And the results showed that there is a significant relationship between gender and knowledge, gender and attitudes, educational status and awareness, educational status and performance, age and knowledge (P≤0/05). As well as a significant difference in knowledge, attitude and behavior of smokers, hookah and normal students. Conclusion: overall, this study showed that dental student’s knowledge is low about the effects of tobacco on oral health. For this reason, was proposed in order to improve the knowledge of students, continuing education and better quality education should be considered.
