فراواني راديوگرافي هاي تجويز شده توسط دندان پزشكان عمومي و متخصص در مراجعين به مراكز راديولوژي پزشكي در شهر اصفهان

Persian Abstract

چکیده مقدمه: تصمیم برای اخذ رادیوگرافی دندانی از بیمار، به تاریخچه و علایم کلینیکی بیمار وابسته است. تعداد نماهای رادیوگرافی تهیه شده از بیماران، در سال‌های اخیر افزایش یافته است. در حالی که تحقیقات کافی درباره‌ی انواع رادیوگرافی‌های تجویزی دندان‌پزشکان در کشور انجام نشده است. تحقیق حاضر با هدف تعیین فراوانی انواع رادیوگرافی‌های تجویز شده توسط دندان‌پزشکان عمومی و متخصصان در نسخه‌های بیمه‌ی خدمات درمانی بیماران مراجعه کننده به مراکز رادیولوژی پزشکی شهر اصفهان انجام شد. مواد و روش‌ها: این مطالعه به صورت توصیفی- مقطعی روی 1210 نسخه‌ی‌ درخواست رادیوگرافی بیماران در سازمان بیمه‌ی خدمات درمانی شهر اصفهان در طول یک سال، ارجاع شده به مراکز رادیولوژی پزشکی شهر اصفهان انجام شد و اطلاعات حاصل از نسخ با آزمون Chi-Square و رگرسیون خطی آنالیز گردید. يافته‌ها: بیشترین نوع رادیوگرافی‌های تجویزی به ترتیب پانورامیک، پری‌اپیکال و بایت‌وینگ، سفالوگرام و سایر بود. متخصصین اندودنتیکس، جراح و ارتودنتیست، بیشترین موارد تجویز رادیوگرافی‌ها را داشتند. بر اساس آنالیز رگرسیون خطی اثر متغیرهای جنس دندان‌پزشک (p value < 0/0001)، سن بیمار (p value < 0/0001) و نیز نوع تخصص دندان‌پزشک (p value < 0/0001) بر نوع رادیوگرافی‌های تجویز شده توسط دندان‌پزشکان معنی‌دار بوده است. نتیجه‌گیری: بیشترین نوع رادیوگرافی‌های ارجاعی به مراکز رادیولوژی پزشکی، پانورامیک بود و متخصصین اندودنتیکس، جراح و ارتودنتیست بیشترین موارد تجویز رادیوگرافی‌ها را داشتند

Frequency of Radiographs Requested by General Dental Practitioners and Specialists for Patients Referring to Radiology Centers in Isfahan

English Abstract

Introduction: The decision for taking dental radiograph of patients dependson clinical signs and medical history of patients. The number of radiographsordered for patients has increased in recent years; however, sufficient research has not been carried out on the types of radiographs dentistsorder in the country. This research was under taken to determine the frequencies and types of radiographsordered by general dental practitioners and specialists for patients under health insurance policy coverage, referring to the radiology centers in Isfahan. Materials & Methods: This descriptive cross-sectional study was carried out on 1210 dental radiographic examinations requested by general dental practitioners and specialists in patients under health insurance policy coverage, referring to radiology centers in Isfahan during one year. Data were analyzed with chi-squared and linear regression tests. Results: The most prescribed radiographic examinations were panoramic, bitewing, periapical, cephalograms and others, respectively. Endodontists, oral surgeons and orthodontists exhibited the most prescribed radiographs. Based onlinear regression analysis, gender of dentists (p value < 0.0001), age of patients (p value < 0.0001) and the dentists’ specialty field (p value < 0.0001) had significant effects on the type of radiographic examinations requested. Conclusion: The most frequently prescribed radiographs were panoramic views. Endodontists, oral surgeons and orthodontists had the most prescribed radiographs.
