مقایسه ی آزمایشگاهی خاصیت آنتی میکروبیال خمیر دندان حاوی پروپولیس و خمیر دندان حاوی فلوراید بر روی استرپتوکوکوس موتانس

Persian Abstract

پوسيدگي دندان يكي از شايع ترین بيماري هاي مزمن در جهان است . این بيماري عفوني ناشي از كلونيزاسيون باكتري ها در سطح دندان است كه با متابوليسم كربوهيدرات ها باعث توليد اسيد و دمينراليزاسيون و ايجاد حفره پوسيدگي در سطح دندان ها مي شود . ﭘﯿﺸﮕﯿﺮی به ﻋﻨﻮان مهمترین و ﻣؤﺛﺮﺗﺮﯾﻦ راه مقابله با هر گونه ﺑﯿﻤﺎری ، از جمله ﭘﻮﺳﯿﺪﮔﯽ دﻧﺪان ﻣﻄﺮح ﺷﺪه است . از ﻃﺮﯾﻖ پیشگیری ﻣﯽﺗﻮان از ﻣﯿﺰان هزینه های درﻣﺎﻧﯽ ﮐﺎﺳﺖ . ﻧﻘﺶ ﺣﯿﺎﺗﯽ ﻓﻠﻮراﯾﺪ در ﭘﯿﺸﮕﯿﺮی از ﭘﻮﺳﯿﺪﮔﯽ دﻧﺪان ﻃﯽ ۵۰ سال گذشته ﻣﻮرد توجه ﻗﺮار ﮔﺮﻓته اﺳﺖ . بره موم از فرآورده های زنبور عسل مي باشد و دارای فعالیت های ضد میكروبي است و همچنین دارای ارزش ممانعت کنندگي در برابر انواع گونه های مختلف میكروارگانیسم ها می باشد و به صورت تجاری به عنوان خمیردندان ، دهان شویه و ... کاربرد دارد . هدف از این پایان نامه ، مقایسه ی آزمایشگاهی خاصیت آنتی میکروبیال خمیر دندان حاوی پروپولیس و خمیر دندان حاوی فلوراید بر روی استرپتوکوکوس موتانس می باشد . موادوروش ها : در این مطالعه ی آزمایشگاهی اثر آنتی باکتریال دو خمیر دندان پروپولیسColgate و فلوراید Colgate روی باکتری استرپتوکوکوس موتانس مورد ارزیابی قرار گرفت . برای آزمون حساسیت باکتری ازروش انتشار در دیسک آگار استفاده شد . داده های بدست آمده با استفاده از روش آماری Two independent sampleTtest مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرارگرفت . نتایج : در مقایسه خاصیت آنتی باکتریال بین خمیردندان پروپولیس Colgate و خمیردندان فلوراید Colgate ، خمیردندان حاوی پروپولیس اثرات آنتی باکتریالی بیشتری را نشان داد . بین میانگین متغیر قطر هاله عدم رشد درخمیر دندان پروپولیس و خمیردندان فلوراید تفاوت معنی داری وجود دارد( pvalue<0.05) . میانگین قطر هاله عدم رشد خمیردندان پروپولیس بیشتر از میانگین قطر هاله عدم رشد خمیردندان فلوراید است . نتیجه گیری : خمیردندان حاوی پروپولیس Colgate نسبت به خمیردندان فلوراید Colgateخاصیت آنتی باکتریالی قابل توجهی بر رشد باکتری استرپتوکوکوس موتانس دارد .

In vitro comparison of anti-microbial propolis toothpaste and fluoride toothpaste on streptococcus mutans

English Abstract

Introduction: Tooth decay is one of the most common chronic diseases in the world. This infectious disease is caused by bacterial colonization at the tooth surface which by carbohydrate metabolism produces acid and demineralization and caries cavity at the tooth surface. prevention is the most important and effective way to cope with any illness, including tooth decay, it is possible to reduce the costs of treatment. There has been a lot of interest in tooth decay for the past 50 years. Propolis is one of the bee products which has anti-bacterial properties and It also has the potential to inhibit a variety of species of microorganisms . It is used commercially as toothpaste, mouthwash and ... The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of toothpastes containing propolis compared with fluoride toothpaste on S. mutans . Material and methods : In this in vitro study, the antibacterial effects of twotooth pastes , namely propolis toothpaste and fluoride toothpaste , were evaluated against S. mutans.The disc diffusion method was used for testing the bacterial sensitivity. The data were analyzed using the two independent sampleT test. Result: There is a significant difference between the mean diameter of the inhibition zone in colgate propolis toothpaste and colgate fluoride toothpaste (P ≤ 0.05). The mean diameter of inhibition zone around the propolis toothpaste was significantly higher than fluoride toothpaste. Conclusion: As the findings indicated, The propolis toothpaste represents the growth. inhibitory of Streptococcus mutans more than fluoride toothpaste.
